Niall is CEO and founder of Echelon Data Centres. He is also Managing Director of Aldgate Developments. A qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in banking and finance, Niall is highly experienced in commercial property development and has a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget while driving returns for investors. As CEO, Niall is responsible for the strategic direction of Echelon Data Centres and takes an active role in all aspects of property selection, assessment, delivery and operations.

Graeme is a project management and delivery expert with more than 20 years’ experience operating at executive level. In his previous role as COO of a successful business and IT consultancy, Graeme delivered complex projects on behalf of organisations including First Data, Bank of Ireland, AIB Merchant Services, AIG, and Aviva while also driving and controlling the wider consulting business. As COO of Echelon, Graeme is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the overall business and driving strategy through to realisation.

Damien has more than 20 years’ experience in the Telecommunications and IT industry, holding various senior roles (including Country Manager and Managing Director) and working with companies such as GTS, FLAG Telecom & Digiweb. As Echelon’s Director of Sales & Marketing (CMO), Damien brings extensive experience working within data centre and carrier environments and has worked on projects with companies across the technology stack from software startups to Hyperscale deployments.

Simon is Echelon’s Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for engagement with the customer’s commercial and technical teams, both pre- and post-contract. He works closely with the design and construction teams to ensure seamless integration between the customer’s requirements and Echelon’s proposals.

Before joining Echelon, Simon worked at a global engineering firm where he was involved in projects for a variety of hyperscalers and colo providers across EMEA.
He is a chartered member of the ICE and the RICS, and has also worked on both the contractor and consultant side.

Dave has more than 10 years’ experience within commercial and residential development finance roles, both in Ireland and Australia. As CFO of Echelon Data Centres, Dave is responsible for all elements of financial management and ensuring alignment of financial performance and plans with the short and long-term strategic objectives of the company.

Paul was a market leading lawyer in the European real estate finance market for 29 years, building the Allen&Overy REF practice into the pre-eminent European REF practice. With teams in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Amsterdam, Milan, Warsaw, Brussels and Eastern Europe. In late 2022 he was one of the four founding partners of Retina SrL an Italian biomethane platform which is becoming one of Europe’s biggest biomethane platforms. He left that in April 2024 to become general counsel of Echelon Data Centres and assumed the COO role mid 2025. An early success in that new role was the entry into the transformational joint venture in Spain with Iberdrola.

Gerard has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Echelon’s data centre infrastructure, ensuring timely and exact delivery of customer requirements. Gerard has more than 10 years’ experience working in data centre operations, holding various management roles within Dataplex and Keppel Datacentres, and has an extensive track record of dealing with co-location providers, cloud service providers and hyperscale customers.

David oversees pre-construction activities across Echelon’s portfolio, covering power, planning and permitting as well as early site enabling works. He is also responsible for Echelon’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy and associated implementation.

Prior to joining Echelon, David managed a successful IT and business consulting company for 18 years, delivering complex business initiatives for clients in the Irish, UK and US markets.

Cormac Nevin is Echelon’s Director of Power, Planning & Utilities, responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s energy provision strategy. Cormac engages with all energy related external stakeholders to ensure power security for Echelon’s clients.

Cormac is a mechanical energy engineer with over 15 years’ experience in energy generation and industrial utilities project development. Prior to joining Echelon he spent six years with Veolia Ireland in senior technical and energy roles. During his career, Cormac has advised large energy consumer industry clients throughout Ireland and UK and managed and grown demand side units in the single electricity market.

Cormac has experience working with large blue-chip corporations and has helped them to manage energy demand, achieve decarbonisation and improve power security.

Martin has more than 30 years of International experience in the Technology and Telecommunications sectors. A former Managing Director and Chairman of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Ireland, Martin currently serves as Chairman of Natwest’s Irish subsidiary Ulydien DAC, and is a former Board Member of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) – the agency which manages the assets and liabilities of the Government of Ireland, where he chaired the investment committee of the Irish Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF).

David is Echelon’s Deputy CEO, with responsibility for the Company’s capital markets activities across debt and equity raising, new acquisitions, and capital allocation.

Prior to joining Echelon, David spent nine years at Starwood Capital Group, a global private investment firm, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Data Centres, Europe with additional responsibility for Starwood Capital’s cross-asset class investing in Germany. David was previously a member of the International Capital Markets team at Starwood working on structured real estate and corporate investments across Europe and Asia. David began his career at Citi, working in real estate finance and corporate & investment banking in Dublin and London.

Tom Griffin is Echelon’s Chief Delivery Officer, responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the company’s data centre and energy campus projects. He is accountable for the design, procurement, commercial and energy teams to ensure seamless execution from early design through construction, commissioning and handover.

Before joining Echelon, Tom held senior leadership roles in the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical facilities across EMEA, most recently as Senior Vice President for Data Centres at Exyte. With more than 20 years’ experience across the data centre, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.

Colm Fagan is a senior leader in the digital infrastructure sector, currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Echelon Data Centres. He is responsible for global development strategy and delivery across the company’s data centre portfolio, with a focus on operational excellence and customer partnerships. With over 15 years of international experience, Fagan has led the delivery and operation of data centres across multiple continents and previously held senior roles, including VP of Development Delivery EMEA at Vantage Data Centres.

Carl is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, governance and commercial management of large-scale, capital-intensive infrastructure. Since joining Echelon in 2021, Carl has led the growth and maturation of the Finance Department and is responsible for financial oversight, stakeholder reporting and cross-team collaboration to support the development and operation of Echelon’s projects.

Andrew is Echelons Director of Planning & Scheduling. Andrew supports programme delivery across the portfolio through integrated planning, scheduling, risk management and project controls, helping to provide clarity and confidence throughout the development and construction lifecycle. A planning and scheduling leader with more than 12 years’ experience delivering large-scale, complex construction and digital infrastructure projects.

Before joining Echelon, Andrew spent 10 years at Mercury Engineering as both subcontractor and general contractor across a number of industries.

A Chartered Accountant with a background in real estate finance, Michael has led the acquisition and delivery of several large-scale projects in Ireland.

Formerly a director at a global development and investment manager, Michael acted as investment manager on numerous residential and commercial real estate projects. He was responsible for acquiring, financing, procuring, delivering, and leasing these projects. Prior to this, Michael worked with the real estate finance team at one of Ireland’s pillar banks.

Charlie is Echelon’s Head of Investment, responsible for the Company’s capital planning, debt and equity raising, site selection, acquisition and growth strategy.
Prior to Echelon, Charlie spent 6 years at Starwood Capital Group across both equity, where he was responsible for digital infrastructure investments, and debt, where he structured and managed ~$10bn of high octane debt across Europe.

Charlie trained as a Chartered Accountant in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory team in London, focusing on restructuring and NPL portfolios.
